Meet CMQ

"Promoting the appreciation of quilts and quiltmaking for more than 30 years"

Quilters from Columbus, Ohio and surrounding communities make up the Columbus Metropolitan Quilters. Our goal is the same as it has been since 1978 – to promote the appreciation of quilts and quiltmaking.

CMQ is chapter 737 of the National Quilting Association.

Membership in CMQ is open to anyone interested in quilting – by hand or machine, traditional or contemporary – regardless of skill.  Guests are welcome to attend our monthly events.  We hope they will join after two meetings.  Dues are $20 a year.

We offer many options for our members:

•  monthly meetings include programs and socializing with other members
•  special quilting days and sew-ins
•  seasonal quilt block challenges and a Kid Quilt Challenge (visit our "Service Projects" section to learn more about Kid Quilts)
