Appraisals: Amy Korn conducted quilt appraisals of both antique and contemporary quilts during show hours.  An appraisal can offer financial protection against theft, loss or damage of your quilt.  The appraisal can also provide a "fair market value" if you wish to sell your quilt or determine its value for a donation, gift or estate purposes for the IRS.  Amy can also date your quilt and provide information on care and storage.  Each appraisal lasts approximately 30 minutes and takes into account the current market in our geographical area, the quilt’s condition and workmanship, and its history and provenance.  You will receive a copy of the final appraisal in the mail (with a photograph of your quilt) within 7-10 days.  The cost for each appraisal is $35.00.  You can make an appointment by contacting Amy directly at 614-891-8008 or send an e-mail to amyokorn@hotmail.com.

Amy Korn is an American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Certified Appraiser of Quilted Textiles.  She is one of fewer than 75 certified appraisers in the United States and Canada.  Amy, who resides in Columbus, is a member of the Professional Association of Appraisers –Quilted Textiles (PAAQT), the American Quilter’s Society (AQS), the American Quilt Study Group (AQSG) and the Columbus Metropolitan Quilters.

Boutique: Our boutique is like a quilter’s flea market and features new and gently-used quality, low-cost items such as patterns, books, magazines, fabric, collectibles, quilt blocks, unfinished quilt tops, quilting tools and notions, and more.
